Hakuna Matata Day
Verifone reception area
A month ago, the admin cum hr manager told me to report for work at 9am. It did not register any form of excitement until 29 days after. Having used to getting up late, it took a lot of effort to get myself off the bed before the sun shines. The “sacrifice” paid off pretty well because I came in several minutes early. Of course, I didn’t anticipate waiting outside the office for more than 15 minutes since the pretty receptionist wasn’t around yet. Darn proximity cards. Good thing Dan rescued me from my despair and ushered me into my cube. Right away, I felt comfy - gray and black table, how elegant I thought. And there it was my simple joy, an LG Flatron screen.
First day clutter
One by one I was introduced to people in the team, after the fifth introduction I began to conclude that I’m the only girl in the group. True enough, I am the muse. Then Pumba and Timone singing Hakuna Matata flashed. After all, the boys are friendly and I feel no male chauvinism anywhere so I got to be alright. Besides, judging from how they deal with each other, I say the group is fun and I can’t wait to start working.
